Founder and head designer of Maputo-based, Chibaia Clothing Company, Lobo has a strong background in graphic design, motion graphics, photography and video editing. He is passionate about concept-driven design which he considers as a form of cultural communication.

“I use fashion to tell a different narrative about my country, its people and how they can be experienced. My design is mainly made up by my cultural views, aspirations, aesthetics and heritage - all expressed in an East African context”.

The label offers streetwear using distinctively patterned Mozambiquan Capulana textiles with bomber jackets and African-print hoodies as hallmarks.
