David Tlale is an internationally acclaimed South African fashion designer known for his bold silhouettes, luxurious craftsmanship and distinctive approach to contemporary African fashion.

After winning the SA Fashion Week ELLE New Talent competition in 2003, he established his namesake label and went on to showcase his collections on international runways, including New York and Paris. In October 2026, he returns to South African Fashion Week to open the AW27 Collections.
