In this webinar, we will explore what it means to build a brand, some of the tips and tricks to consider when developing a marketing strategy and plan and other tools you can use to ‘get your brand out there’ and connect with the right customers.

Tom Fels – CEO of Animarem
A mission-driven brand expert, speaker and author with a passion for conscious business, Tom Fels is the Founder of Animarem – a strategy advisory accelerating sustainable business leadership - and represents the global B Corp community in Southern Africa. He was previously a luxury eco-tourism CEO at Singita, as well as a Director at Advertising group Machine, and is committed to building a movement of business as a force for good.


Nandi Molefe - Entrepreneur, Brand Communications & Social Media Marketing Strategist
Nandi Molefe is an entrepreneur, social media marketing and branding specialist, speaker and author. She is a Wits graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and French. In 2015 she founded Dominion Vantage - a social media marketing consulting agency servicing clients locally and in Los Angeles, Dubai, London and Amsterdam. Some of her South African clients include Multichoice, ABinBev, Steyn City and Audi. In 2020, Nandi served as the Chair of the Gauteng Women Excellence Awards Adjudication Board on behalf of the Gauteng Office of the Premier.


Shekara H. Singh - Chief Marketing Officer at Zando
An experienced corporate brand and retail marketer, Shekara serves on the C-Suite and heads the marketing function at Zando, South Africa's largest online fashion store. She is responsible for brand and digital commerce strategy, performance marketing, UI/UX, TTL advertising, martech, and strategic partnerships. Over the last decade, she has led digital and strategic projects for organisations including Sage, Estée Lauder, Old Mutual, and Unilever. She is entrepreneurially driven having co-owned an e-commerce startup and holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School.


Arabelle Treurnicht - Lecturer at STADIO – Trend Analysis, Marketing and Brand Management
Arabelle started her academic journey at the University of Pretoria receiving a degree in Clothing Retail Management. She went on to receive a master's degree, focused on Consumer Complaint Behaviour within the South African Fashion Industry from the University of Pretoria. Currently, she is a full-time module coordinator and lecturer at STADIO School of Fashion focusing on Trend Analysis and Marketing and Brand Management. Her goal as an instructor is to create an atmosphere that fosters learning with a focus on innovative classroom techniques.
