Limpopo-born designer Irene Makhavhu has over nine years’ experience in the fashion industry. A Durban University of Technology graduate, she began by supplying a childrenswear range to a leading retail store.

Makhavhu is an awarded designer whose talent has earned industry recognition. She has since expanded her expertise across styling and production, gaining well-rounded experience.

In 2015, she launched her own label, building a loyal client base. Her work centres on sophisticated simplicity, creating bridal, fashion, and ready-to-wear pieces that reflect individuality, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of her clients, translating their ideas into garments that feel personal and refined.

The brand is currently stocked at THE SPACE boutiques, as well as BIG BLUE stores nationwide.
