Kwanga Qusheka’s SPORTIFY reworks uMbaco, the traditional Xhosa cloth, into everyday sportswear. Shaped by Cape Town street-culture and time spent learning uMbaco construction in the Eastern Cape, his work brings heritage into daily life rather than keeping it for ceremony. Layering, colour, tailoring and activewear come together in clothing built around cultural pride, quality and adaptability. For Kwanga, innovation is not about moving faster but giving tradition new life.
