Robyn Agulhas is a Cape Town–based fashion designer and founder of SINCHUI, a contemporary label that merges sport, street culture, and heritage storytelling. Launched in 2019 following her graduation, SINCHUI evolved from her graduate collection into a brand recognised for its innovative utility streetwear, defined by functional design, strong construction, and bold cultural expression.

Her creative direction is shaped by her upbringing in Cape Town and early exposure to garment production through her family, instilling a deep respect for craftsmanship and process.

Robyn’s work draws from the environments and stories around her, using fashion as a medium to explore identity, resilience, and community. Blending streetwear sensibilities with high fashion influences, her collections reflect both local narratives and global urban culture.

Through SINCHUI, Agulhas continues to champion inclusive, gender-neutral design and responsible production practices, working in small runs and collaborating with local makers. Her vision is to contribute to a new generation of African designers bringing authentic stories and contemporary African fashion to a global stage.
