Lezanne Viviers is a Johannesburg-based fashion designer and the founder of VIVIERS, a sustainable, handcrafted clothing brand known for its sculptural silhouettes and radical approach to wardrobe-building. Born in Cape Town and trained in sculpture at PJ Olivier Art School, Viviers graduated from the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design in 2010 and went on to serve as creative director for Marianne Fassler from 2015 to 2018.

In 2019, she launched VIVIERS – a Limited Edition and Made-to-Measure label rooted in South African soil yet globally resonant. Inspired by Japanese Shokunin and African Ubuntu, her designs blur the boundaries between art and fashion, masculinity and femininity, organic and industrial. Each piece is a tactile manifesto of identity, activism, and co-creation, crafted from rare and reclaimed materials.

VIVIERS has earned acclaim for its Earth-conscious innovation and conceptual elegance, receiving multiple awards including the TWYG Nicholas Coutts Artisanal Fashion Award (2024), the Change Maker Award (2024), and recognition from Glamour, Dossier, and Fashion Bridges.
