A self-taught designer born and raised in Zola, Soweto, he started designing in 2012 and later established his eponymous brand, in 2013. He designs for both ladies and gentlemen who love bold and daring, yet elegant and sophisticated designs, with an African flair. Zamaswazi is well known for his avant-garde designs and in his 10 years in the industry, his designs have travelled the world and dressed many.

He was a finalist in the GQ Scouting Menswear Competition, at the South African Fashion Week in 2016. Zamaswazi also was part of a local television program, called Raw Silk, where he was one of the Top 5. He went on to showcase his talent in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has dressed multiple, well-known celebrities including actors, musicians, and radio and television personalities. He has also dressed the likes of Miss Universe Runner-Up 2021 Lalela Mswane, and Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida.
